A tour of the product

From the first order to the register close

Every screen below is the system running — none of it is a mockup.

Selling

The sale closes on the screen where it started

The cashier decides whether to charge before deciding how to charge. Enter settles it in one go; typing less opens the next payment method. The receipt only prints once it is paid.

  • Split payment across as many methods as needed, none ever exceeding what is left
  • Change is calculated, and the screen always says what is still owed
  • House courtesy as its own path, with a mandatory reason
  • Discount capped per company, and above the cap only with authorisation

Checkout — four methods, four keys, and the balance always in view.

Floor

Tables, open areas, and everyone’s own tab

Click the table and confirm — no typing numbers. Arrows and Enter work too. One table can hold several tabs, and every item knows who rang it in.

  • Numbered tables and named open areas — terrace, back room, high counter
  • Move a tab to another table without losing its history
  • Split the bill by tab or by item
  • Dirty tables show how long since the last clean

Kitchen

The kitchen sees the order the moment it exists

Kitchen, bar and pastry are separate production areas. Each gets its own board, paired by code to a tablet or a TV — no login, no password taped to the wall.

  • Waiting → Preparing → Ready → Delivered, and never backwards
  • A dedicated expediter station for whoever plates and hands off
  • Item notes in high contrast: “no onion” does not slip past
  • Full-screen landscape board, installable as an app

Register

Opens, drops cash, and closes blind

The operator counts the drawer without seeing the expected total, and the system reconciles afterwards. Cash drops and top-ups are logged with who and why.

  • Blind close, per payment method, with the difference revealed at the end
  • Cash drop and cash-in at any point in the shift
  • The whole shift summarised on one screen, ready to print
  • No sale happens while the register is closed

Reports

Reports that answer questions, not reports that show numbers

Who opened the sale, who rang in the item and who took the payment are three different people — and the report knows the difference.

  • Revenue, average ticket, payment mix and sales channels on one panel
  • ABC product curve, and production times as mean, median and P90
  • Service charge: base, collected, and effective percentage
  • CSV for the spreadsheet, or print to PDF for the accountant

Tax

Brazilian NFC-e issued on the spot, and kept for eleven years

The invoice prints with its DANFE and QR code. The authorised XML is archived encrypted off-site for the legal retention period, and comes back by access key when someone needs it.

  • Per-company tax rules: CST/CSOSN, PIS and COFINS
  • Courtesy goods can go on the invoice as a giveaway
  • Delivery orders carry the marketplace and the delivery fee onto the invoice
  • A sale with a tax problem is flagged in the menu, not hidden

Delivery

A marketplace order becomes a real sale

The store opens, pauses and closes from Canindé. The menu is read before the first order arrives, and the POS code is written back into the app.

  • Order board: new, in production and ready, with the clock running
  • Marketplace items linked to house products, with a warning when a link is missing
  • A stock shortage warns and never refuses the order on its own
  • The order enters production and the reports like any other sale

Approvals

Nothing sensitive happens without someone accountable

Cancelling an item already cooked, granting courtesy, exceeding the discount cap or cancelling an invoice asks for a manager’s eight-digit code — or a request the manager answers from their phone.

  • Single-use code, bound to that operation and that item, with an expiry
  • Seventeen different operations can require authorisation
  • Each company chooses which of them actually do
  • An alert when a priced product reappears as a house courtesy

Team

Everyone sees their own part

Permission groups built per module, with automatic implications: whoever can see tabs also sees products, register and tables, because the screen does not work otherwise.

  • Twenty-seven modules and around fifty-five permissions
  • Manual stock adjustment isolated as an owner-level permission
  • Per-employee reporting behind its own permission
  • Logging out destroys the whole session — nothing leaks into the next shift

Printing

Prints to the thermal printer straight from the browser

The printer is authorised once, in the browser itself. There is no agent to install and no driver to maintain. The bill prints marked as non-fiscal, because it is.

  • Bill, receipt, register close and delivery ticket
  • Paper cut adjustable per printer
  • More than one named printer on the same computer
  • NFC-e DANFE with its QR code
